Description of Services Provided

The Stephen F. Austin STEM building consists of four floors of classrooms and laboratory space. A 52 foot diameter planetarium resides in the 3 story tall glass lobby that can be viewed from the windows of the classrooms, laboratories and maker spaces surrounding the lobby. The building houses classes for multiple disciplines including electrical engineering, thermodynamics, biology, computer science and physics. Laboratories are designed to be flexible and can change from wet to dry labs through switches in the building automation systems each semester or each class depending on the chemicals used in the room.
