Founding Vision

Founded in 1994 by Bill Clifford and Jack Esmond, E&C Engineers was built on a vision to do things differently, creating a firm that not only delivers innovative MEP design solutions, but also invests in the people behind the work. Central to this vision is our “working Principal” philosophy, where firm leaders remain actively involved in day-to-day design and serve as direct points of contact for clients. This hands-on approach ensures that clients benefit from seasoned expertise, strong communication, and leadership continuity throughout every project. Rooted in a commitment to quality, collaboration, and meaningful relationships, these founding values continue to shape our culture and guide our work today.
