Timber Lane Community Center is a 7,500 sqft community center consisting of two large meeting rooms that can open to one larger space, two conference rooms, restrooms and office space.

The building also houses garage space for the site’s maintenance trucks. The project was intended to be energy efficient with heat recovery VRF units and LED lighting. The maintenance personnel requested the building be easy to maintain and that as little be located on the roof as possible, so all items are located above the ceilings or in MEP rooms or a yard. One of the highlights of the building is the tall center entryway surrounded by windows including clerestories that pop up from the rest of the buildings. In order to transfer conduit, piping, etc. from the origin at one side of the building to the other, the team coordinated the required openings that would be required in structure to route the items so that the windows would not be blocked and the ceiling could be tight to structure.
