Designed to bring students, researchers, and the public together, the center will provide hands-on spaces where future leaders in food science can work directly with every stage of meat processing. It will foster connection through shared research, training sessions, and public outreach, including a retail outlet showcasing products developed on-site.

By creating opportunities for education, innovation, and real-world experience, the facility will strengthen AgriLife’s role as a leader in advancing food quality and safety.
