This garage accommodates 3,100 cars and connects via skybridge to the new International Terminal at Hobby airport. E&C designed the mechanical systems to serve the sky bridge and the lobbies using split system DX. Power to serve the new garage comes from existing medium voltage gear; E&C provided the design to transform this down and to distribute the power to electrical panels. The garage is sprinkled with a fire pump and break tank installed in the first floor to serve the garage. The lighting level is maintained with a reduced level when the garage is not active; the lighting design incorporates occupancy sensors with photo sensors that will reduce the lighting level when the garage lit with daylight.
