Rice University National Security Research Accelerator

Accelerator Laboratory project was a renovation of most of the fourth floor of the Dell Butcher Laboratory Building. The spaces consisted of offices, a conference room, a break area and a laser lab along with microwave plasma CVD systems, furnaces and other specialized equipment and tools.

The equipment was complex and required many complex tooling connections, including water cooled chillers selected by the MEP team and coordinated with the equipment manufacturers as well as ultra pure gasses and distribution piping.

A chemistry laboratory with mass spectrometers, glove boxes and other specialty gasses was also a part of the project.
